front1.jpg [1/80]   General Terauchi Hisaichi (1879-1946), who fought in the Russo-Japanese War, was made commander of the Southern Expeditionary Army group, and devised war plans for the advance into Southeast Asia. This photograph dates Feb. 15, 1942. He was the son of Terauchi Masatake, a one time field marshal and prime minister.
