Professor Benjamin C. Ray, '62 Professor of Religious Studies, University of Virginia
Though we did not use any of their code in this project, Professor Ray and his colleagues were kind enough to share with us the code that was used in their Salem Witch Trials project.
So we credit them is a slightly modified form:
"FlashGIS map technology inspired by The Salem Witch Trials Documentary Archive and Transcription Project at The Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities and The University of Virginia."
Funding for the project was provided by the National Institute for Technology and Liberal Education, with student support from the Gibbons Summer Research Internship Fund, and the Bowdoin College Office of Information Technology.
