Nequasset Lake Watershed Project
|
The Nequasset Watershed covers an area of ~20 square miles within the towns of Woolwich, Dresden and Wiscasset. Streams and wetlands drain to Nequasset Lake, which provides drinking water for the towns of Woolwich, Wiscasset and West Bath, as well as the City of Bath.
The Nequasset Lake Watershed Project is a collaborative effort that includes students and teachers at Morse High School and at Bowdoin College, as well as other stakeholders in the communities and the state. Information and monitoring data will be posted here, and an associated online forum will allow for interchange of ideas and concerns.
